Awards for all Grant
Our Group has been fortunate to have received two grants from the Lotteries Small Grants, Awards for All. The first in 2000 was to fully replace all of our very old camping gear to top of the range new Tents and other Camping Equipment to a total cost of £4788. The second grant this year 2001 was for Outdoor Equipment, Summer Camp Activities and Training Aids to the total of £2889.

History
The 1st Cramlington Scout Group is the oldest in Cramlington and was formed in March 1946. It was first based in St. Nicholas Church but then moved to the then new Parkside Middle school. At this point the group took on the purple and gold for it's neckerchief which are the school's colours.
